  • Does anyone read this blog?
    Thursday, April 05, 2007
I am just wondering if anyone actually reads my blogs anymore.
I guess I could use some tips on garnering a readership. It's just that I'm so busy, that I can't post several threads to it everyday, plus most of what I post must not be too riveting.
    Oh well.
The music thing continues to be a busy venture for me though. I am in two bands, as some of you know.
The primary one, the Noah Caveny Band, continues to attract attention and playing shows. We had several in March, and more coming this month, with more to fall in line soon.
Noah's even getting a lot of attention on some radio stations here in the Dallas market, which is good.
The other band I'm in, "Scrambled Eggs" (or the "Threatles"), continues to make stellar leaps forward in musicianship and repertoire.
We haven't had a gig since February, but folks will start seeing us more frequently pretty soon.
We have a surprise in our set list that is going to blow people's minds. Seriously.
There are three other Beatle bands in the Dallas area that are "known", such as that may be-"A Hard Night's Day", "Me and my Monkey", and another whose name escapes me at the moment. None of them, nor any other band I know of past or present, has attempted what we have incorporated into our set.
I don't think Brad Delp's Beatle tribute band had even attempted it (God rest his soul), which is something. If anyone could pull it off, it would have been his band.
Anyway, check out these links if you haven't already-
